Quarter 1 Driver of the Quarter Selections

Driver of the Quarter awards at Lew Thompson & Son Trucking serve to recognize some of our top performers across the company. Awards are based on tenure, performance, safety, Lytx score and fuel mileage.

Local Reefer Division:

Selection: Rocky Burnett (employed beginning 07/23/2001))

Rocky's Driver Manager noted that he "is what any company would want in a driver. He never complains about anything and is always willing to help out when needed. He always puts the company first and always deliveries his loads on time". Thanks for your dedication, Rocky!

OTR Division: Selection: Patrick Donellan (employed beginning 09/27/2017)

Patrick serves on our Over the Road Division and is always willing to run a load! His Driver Manager, noted "Patrick has great time management skills and is always knowledgeable about his loads and is prepared Willing to stay out for long periods of time, to get the job done. ". We are so glad to have Patrick on out team!

Batesville Feed: Selection: Scott McSpadden (employed beginning 04/13/2020)

"Scott is an exemplary team member on the Batesville feed haul team. Scott embodies a spirit of loyalty, skill, and competitiveness towards his job responsibilities. He is a safe, dependable and positive employee. ". This statement was noted by Scott's manager for all of his hard work and dedication to the company. Thanks, Scott!

Springdale Division:

Selection: Dennis Schoneweis (employed 04/01/2019)

Dennis is a very safe driver on our feed haul division. Dennis is dependable and works hard to get the job done. Thank you Dennis for working hard and getting the job done.

Carthage Division:

Selection: Bill Dunaway (employed 03/11/2015)

Bill's manager noted that "Bill is my number one feed hauler. He always goes above and beyond, and is very deserving of this!" We are proud to have Bill on the team!

Harrison Division: Selection: Nathan Waters (employed 03/12/2019)

Nathan's manager notes that "he is a lead feed driver for the dedicated division in Harrison. He is always willing to help out in other areas when needed, sometimes this means hauling his regular day of feed along with Live haul loads. He is a great asset to our company and we are very grateful to have him as an employee." Thank you for your hard work and dedication, Nathan!

Driver of the Quarter winners are eligible for Driver of the Year honors as long as their performance and safety continues to be outstanding. We appreciate these employees, but also all of our employees who work hard everyday and make this company a great place to work!
